I ruptured my left biceps tendon while goalkeeping in a competitive football game. I heard and felt something snap in my left arm and I knew immediately that something had gone wrong. I was referred to see Mr Pimpalnerkar who specialises in sports surgery who operated on me straightaway. It is now 8 weeks on since I had the surgical repair and I am pleased to say that the repair has restored the shape of my biceps tendon to normal and I am now able to perform press-ups with out any problems.

The attentive care I received under Mr Pimpalnerkar was excellent. After doing the appropriate exercises I was discharged and I now walk unaided without any problems. Thanks to Mr Pimpalnerkar I consider myself very fortunate to have my quality of life given back to me and look forward to an active future.
